Overview
The backcountry road leading to Río Magnolia winds through the lush greenery of small farms, rainforest, and across mountain rivers. The main lodge, Magnolia House, is set against the backdrop of towering jungle peaks, green valleys and the vast Pacific Ocean. Upon arrival, you will be overwhelmed by your surroundings.
Río Magnolia is an exciting combination of luxurious accommodations set in an eco-touristic environment. Our electrical power is produced by a renewable energy source, a small hydro-electric system. Río Magnolia was designed to offer our guests a wide range of activities and experiences. If you are looking for adventure, nature, and comfort, Río Magnolia is the ideal place.
In the foreground of Magnolia House sits the inviting infinity pool. The adjoining bar and terraces provide the perfect place to meet other guests and share tales of the day's adventures or simply relax with a book from our library.
With regards to dining, Magnolia House offers an exquisite combination of International and Costa Rican cuisine using local fresh fruits and vegetables. Since we are a small establishment, we are able to design our daily set menus with the freshest ingredients. Before you arrive, we inquire about food allergies and general tastes in food, so that our menus will meet all of your expectations!
