Rooms
All of our rooms offer soft white linens and cozy duvets to snuggle under at night. Rio Magnolia is at an elevation of 800 meters and the temperature drops at night allowing the fresh evening air to drift into your room through the screened windows. We are a low impact eco-lodge and do not have air conditioning and do not require it. Each room has a ceiling fan for air circulation. Shampoo and liquid soap are presented in refillable bottles.

This very private suite is attached to Magnolia House jutting out over the valley. El Cielo offers panoramic ocean and jungle views with a private wrap-around terrace. The suite has a queen size bedroom with a sitting area, large ensuite bath and a shower that offers fantastic views. This room is also wheelchair accessible.

Mono Congo is constructed completely from local wood and is perched on the edge of the jungle just uphill from the main lodge. Enjoy the surroundings from beautiful handmade windows. Mono Congo offers a queen-size bed with a sitting area and ensuite bathroom with a shower that is open to the jungles sights and sounds. A covered wooden deck overlooks the jungle, the rolling valleys and the ocean.

Description
The villa is self-contained and is suitable for a couple who like to have room to relax and enjoy complete privacy but, at the same time, have access to all of the facilities offered by Rio Magnolia Lodge. It consists of a single bedroom with king-size bed, a living room with fully equipped kitchen and a tropical bathroom with glass-walled shower looking out on a small, private garden. The villa is surrounded by covered terraces and a beautiful stone patio, which serves also as a dining room. Past a foreground of lawn and charming flower-beds, and over rolling hills and valleys, one gets a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. The villa itself is of Balinese design, offering a happy combination of concrete-stucco and rich, local woods. The rooms have cathedral ceilings, lit by high windows, and are surrounded by large, sliding glass doors. The living room has a fireplace and TV/ DVD player, and there is a gas barbeque on the terrace.
Amapola cottage is only 200 metres from the Lodge, easily accessed by foot or by four-wheel drive vehicle. Guests of the villa can enjoy the Lodge swimming pool, bar and hiking trails. Meals are available at the Lodge at an additional cost on 24 hour prior request. Guests who plan to cook their own meals are advised to provide their own 4 wheel drive vehicle as the closest grocery store (small) is 6 km from the Lodge. This will be handy also for visits to the local attractions. The Lodge can provide information on tours and beaches in the area and transportation to beaches and activities. Transportation to and from the airport can also be arranged through the Lodge.
Rates
The villa may be rented on a weekly basis from April 7, 2012 to January 5, 2012, excluding October 27 to December 1, when the Lodge is closed.
The Green Season weekly rate from April 7 to October 27, $800/week
The weekly rate for December 1-15, $1000/week
The weekly rate for Holiday Season, December 15 to January 5, $1200/week
These rates are for 2 people and include light cleaning but do not include meals or Costa Rican tax of 13%.
