Activities at Río Magnolia
Río Magnolia was designed to offer our guests a wide range of activities and experiences. If you are looking for adventure, nature, and comfort, Río Magnolia is the ideal place. Trails run throughout the 280-acre property. Our guide will help you identify the many species of birds that inhabit the area, including many species of hawks, falcons and eagles, hummingbirds, parrots and the always popular Chestnut-mandibled Toucan. Anteaters, kinkajous, peccaries, tayras, pizotes, agoutis, sloths, white faced monkeys and of course the noisy howler monkeys have been sighted. We are in the process of cataloguing the several species of birds and trees, which we have identified on our property. It is a naturalist’s dream come true!

- Hiking in the primary forest on one of our trails with a guide or on your own,
- Walking through the jungle and pastures the farm or down to the horse stables or cow coral on our private roads and pathways
